# Sevra

> Sevra is the managed home for brains. A brain is a db.md store: a company's
> (or person's) knowledge and operating state kept as plain markdown files,
> hosted always-on, indexed, and kept curated, and operated by the customer's
> own AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, or any capable harness). The store format
> is open: db.md, Apache-2.0. We host it; you own it.

The free tier is open (the home is free); paid plans are rolling out. The
db.md standard is public and needs no account.
