Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

Sevra is a product of VibeCraft Inc. By using Sevra, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

Sevra is the managed home for brains. A brain is a store of plain markdown files in the db.md format, an open format published under the Apache-2.0 license. Your store holds your knowledge and operating state. Sevra hosts it, keeps it available, and keeps it indexed and organized.

You can operate your store with your own AI agent, such as Claude Code or Codex. Paid features may also let you authorize Sevra to run declared work for you. Sevra is in early access, and the service evolves quickly.

3. Your store

Your store and everything in it belong to you. The format is open, you can export the full store at any time, and you can self-host it. Sevra is the default home for your store, not the only home.

Sevra personnel do not read your store contents in the normal course of business. Access is limited to what is needed to operate the service and is governed by internal policy.

You are responsible for the content you keep in your store.

If you use the brain vault, you authorize Sevra to hold the secret values you deliberately save and to disclose each value only to an owner readback or a function or run that declares it. You remain responsible for those credentials and for permission to use the services they access.

4. Agents and automated work

You may bring your own AI agent under your own account with your AI provider. Your own agent is not metered by Sevra. Its requests go directly to your provider unless you deliberately configure a Sevra feature or vault-backed consumer to do otherwise.

Sevra-run features, when available, execute only after you authorize them and may use third-party model or service providers. You are responsible for reviewing automated actions, outputs, and permissions and for complying with the terms of any provider or connected service you choose.

5. Plans and billing

Sevra's complete hosted home is available on a Free plan. Paid plans, when offered, add Sevra-run work, organization features, and support. Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the start of each billing period. Prices and included run credits are shown before you subscribe. Card details are held by Stripe and never touch Sevra's servers.

An empty run-credit balance pauses Sevra-run work. Sevra does not automatically create an overage charge. We give notice before a price change takes effect on your paid plan.

6. Cancellation

Cancel a paid plan anytime. No long-term contracts.

Paid features remain active through the end of the current billing period unless we state otherwise. When the paid plan ends, your account returns to the Free plan and your hosted brain stays available. You can export it at any time.

Canceling a paid plan does not delete a brain or account. Deletion happens only when you explicitly delete one or make a verified deletion request.

Except where required by law or stated at purchase, fees for elapsed time in the current billing period are not refundable.

7. Data ownership and export

You own your store. The db.md format is open, your files are plain markdown, and a full export is available at any time. Nothing in these terms gives Sevra ownership of your content, or any license to it beyond what is needed to host and operate the service.

When you explicitly delete a brain or account, Sevra removes the active copy, vault values, and its recovery key. Encrypted backup ciphertext may remain under a 30-day storage lock, but the destroyed per-brain key makes it unreadable while the lock expires and the object is pruned.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for:

• Any activity that violates applicable laws
• Storing or distributing malicious software
• Unauthorized access to third-party systems or to other customers' stores
• Sending unsolicited bulk messages
• Storing content you do not have the right to store
• Attempting to probe, overload, or circumvent Sevra's security measures

Published sites can include code (functions) and agent runs that execute on Sevra's infrastructure under per-site resource caps. You are responsible for what your site's code does; unlawful content, attacks on third parties, and resource abuse may pause or remove a site under the takedown policy. Your code and records remain your content.

Sevra reserves the right to suspend service for violations.

9. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your store and its contents. Anything your agent creates in your store belongs to you.

Sevra retains rights to the platform and the service. The db.md format itself is open source under the Apache-2.0 license and is not proprietary to Sevra.

10. Service availability

Sevra is in early access. We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and these terms include no service level agreement. Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance. Your store is always exportable in an open format, so you can keep your own copy.

11. Limitation of liability

Sevra is provided as is. Sevra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Total liability is capped at fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Automated output can be incorrect. Sevra is not liable for actions taken by your own agent or for actions you authorize without reviewing their permissions or results.

12. Privacy

Sevra processes account and billing data, and hosts your store contents in order to provide the service. See our Privacy policy for full details.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated 30 days in advance via email. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
